Day 9 (in place of Day 5): Favorite Voice

Technically this is supposed to be Day Five (Favorite Attack/s) of the meme but since I'm running a blank on that one, I will instead skip ahead to a question that I definitely CAN answer: my favorite voice in the game.

There's some lovely voices in this game and while I admit that listening to Kain talk would NEVER EVER get old, there's another voice that gets to me EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

....Well, where did you think Kain learned to have such a sexy voice? Impossible to learn that on his own! NOPE, he got voice lessons from the best person in the field: TEAM CROTCHFACE Garland Chaos.

And my quota for the day is DONE.

PS: Apparently Chaos' VA also voiceacted as Dr. Facilier from Princess and the Frog....Oddly enough the Shadow Man's voice failed to have the same effect XD

I can see why. Chaos' voice is so...complex and decadent. Entirely betrays that image of an unruly demon with the composed elegance of a deity. Just thinking about it is making my ears flutter in euphoria.

One of the few english voices I prefer to the Japanese version. (My order of the Japanese edition is due any day now! EEEEEE...! Akira Ishida, Romi Paku, Toshiyuki Morikawa, Takahiro Sakurai, Koichi Yamadera and many more!)

Think about it: all Genomes are essentially braindead, androgoynous, pretty teenagers with tails. Kuja, Zidane and their sister Mikoto are the only ones with any proper sentience and Kuja is considered a failure specifically because he refuses to submit to Garland. Zidane is also considered one. And Mikoto is so damn repressed that it's depressing. Oh and all the Genomes wear skimpy clothes. That's right, Kuja doesn't wear pants because his home doesn't even have them! (I lie, Garland wears them but he's the sole exception)

Yeah, the evidence speaks for itself...

Kuja did the world a favour when he kicked Garland off that cliff. (And now this brings an entirely new perspective as to why he loathes the guy so much. Oh and to further the creepiness, if Garland's plan worked then Kuja's soul would be removed and his body used to house someone else. Yah... Can you blame him for being evil?)

He was also Goliath in Gargoyles and that one guy in the Mass Effect series (I'm still new so I don't know his name, but he mentioned something about a political shitstorm. Remember, I'm backseat gaming with my BF. I don't know what's going on at all in the game yet so NO SPOILERS PLX).

…He's got a nice voice, yeah, but he just doesn't push the same buttons in my head as Kain. Probably because a rage!Kain slides up ever so slightly into the lowest part of the tenor register, and I have this thing for tenor voice…
