Day 4: Least Favorite Stages

Like most other players out there these stages would have to be: Planet Core (both normal and Chaos), Ultimecia's Castle (both), Pandemonium (both), Chaos!Sky Fortress Bahamut (THOSE F*CKIN WINDS), but the worst offender of this group would have to be Chaos!World of Darkness.

Like Chaos!Pandemonium, Chaos!World of Darkness also goes through a terrain switch. Unlike Chaos!Pandemonium, it doesn't give a warning, though. >_<

On a sidenote, why do they use the Omega symbol for the Chaos arenas? Omega =/= Chaos....

Unless this is actually a form of Fridge!Brilliance because the world IS ending when Shade Impulse takes place...!

Consider the fact that Feral Chaos's description is "The Omega and the Alpha." FC is basically the ultimate form of the bastad, when all chaos (HAHAHAHAH) breaks loose, and since the world is going explode…Ω. The last thing before it's all over.

I like ΩWorld of Darkness though. There IS a warning, but unless you've managed the combined 1000 hours between the first and second games like I have (or looked it up) you're unlikely to notice it: little motes of darkness start flickering around the area. They look kind of like dark pyreflies. If you actually manage to see the first one, you have EXACTLY 2.75 seconds before a terrain shift.

Regular Pandamonium and regular Ultimecia's Castle are both annoying but they do provide brilliant perversion potential for people who like to abuse the game replays.

With Ulty's castle if you're at the top of the ledge and get attacked against the wall then you'll get a nice close up of your characters Hngggh! face (as demonstrated here by one Cecil Harvey) which makes for screencap mischief.

As for Mat's castle there is a lot of camera screw (and walls) which if you like having your mage innocently glide up the wall so you can leer at his panties, is a huge plus. Nowhere else can you see that black thong so close up. *nosebleed*

But gameplay wise, yeah they're a bitch. Though at least with Pandaemonium there's a glitch with the walls allowing you to spam attacks through them.
